Chasing the 4 of Clubs

Support the Clay County Fair with the Chasing the 4 of Clubs Fundraiser. It’s a progressive 50/50 drawing chasing the 4 of Clubs. Tickets are sold at the Clay County Fair office daily and at select locations on Wednesdays. Two winners will be drawn each Wednesday at approximately 7:45 pm.  Two weekly winners will receive a $50 gift certificate to the host location and have a chance of drawing the 4 of Clubs at the Grand Finale and winning half of the total event pot. Tabor Czech Days

It’s the 75th annual Tabor Czech Days happening June 13-15th. Events kick off on Thursday with the midway shows, Tabor Bluebirds baseball game and fireworks. Friday, June 14th, enjoy the giant parade at 1pm, followed by bingo, the Bohemian Tractor Pull, Beseda dancers, and a free concert at the park. Saturday starts with the the Kolache Krawl 5K Run/Walk at 8am, kiddie parade at 11am, kids activities, polka bands, pedal tractor pull, and the Czech Days Royalty Coronation Ball at 9pm.

Flag Day Program

The Yankton Elks Lodge is celebrating Flag Day on June 14th at 7pm. The Lodge is hosting a program and will be presenting the history of the US Flag. Members of the Yankton Children’s Choir will be performing. This event is open to the public and located at 504 W. 27th St. in Yankton.

June Bragging Rights

Bragging Rights On Thursday Nights is back on June 27th! Support the community and non profits with your love of cars! Bring your classic car, motorcycle, or anything you have! Each month, a different non profit organization will be serving the meal for a free will donation. Bring your lawn chairs, come out for food, friends, music wile supporting the community! Bragging Rights is located behind Missouri River Associates, 124 Walnut St. in Yankton.

July 3rd on 3rd Block Party

Kick off the Independence Day the right way with the July 3rd on 3rd Block Party! Enjoy food vendors starting at 4pm. Jam out to Rock Hardys from 7-11pm at the corner of 3rd Street & Douglas in Yankton.

St. Helena 4th of July Festival

The 90th annual Saint Helena 4th of July Festival is a celebration of community, togetherness, and the spirit of independence. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy a day filled in St. Helena. Events include corn hole tournament, bingo, volleyball & softball tournament, broasted chicken dinner, and fireworks! City of Yankton 4th of July Celebration

Spend a full day of activities celebrating the USA along with celebrating the 100th birthday of the Magnificent Meridian Bridge on Thursday, July 4th! Events start at 9am with the National Park Service will host their Junior Ranger Program in Riverside Park. Enjoy discounted day passes for Open Swim at The Huether Family Aquatics Center, plus crafts and activities for the whole family! Food and treat trucks will be vending at Riverside Park starting at 6pm, as well as face painting, balloon art, and Music at the Meridian community mural tile painting. Local musicians Startz and Endz perform from 6-7pm at the greenspace at Riverside Park. Headliners “Not Quite Brothers” will perform from 7:30-9pm. The celebration ends at 10pm with the annual City of Yankton fireworks show!

12th Annual Charity Poker Run

Join Stringer Bar & Grill for the 12th Annual Charity Poker Run to benefit the Yankton Sack Pack program on Saturday, July 20th. Registration starts at 11am with kickstands up at noon. All vehicles are welcome. Entry fee is $25 for this 5 stops & 200 mile poker run. Enjoy a 50/50 raffle and auction after the poker run starting at 7pm.
