Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn performed "Thank God" live onstage for the first time during a concert in Ottawa, Canada, last Thursday (December 1).

Sharing the performance on social media, Brown wrote, "My baby's first time on stage singing our song together . she killed it of course and I'm so proud of you!!!! (Thank god)!!!!! Ottawa Canada y'all slayed."

"Speechless. Thanks babe for making me as comfortable as possible and for everyone being so kind," responded Katelyn.

"Dang she crushed it," Walker Hayes wrote in the comments section. Chris Lane wrote, "Freakin' awesome," while Carly Pearce added, "Yes @katelynbrown !!!!"

Brown had said in an interview with Billboard earlier about the plans to perform the song with his wife during some of his shows.

"We'll have a nanny that can watch the kids while they are sleeping, and then Katelyn can be onstage and sing with me," he said then. "We'll do 'Thank God,' and she'll sing Lauren [Alaina]'s part on 'What Ifs.' Katelyn hasn't done anything musically since she left Orlando, so we just gotta get her bearings, like learning how to use the in-ears [monitors] onstage. She's never used those before."

Kid Rock Speaks Out Against Potential Destruction Of Hank Williams' Tennessee Home

Kid Rock Speaks Out Against Potential Destruction Of Hank Williams' Tennessee Home

Musician turned activist Kid Rock, speaking up for "Save Beechwood Hall," appeared on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" to attract national attention to recent demolition activity around Hank Williams' historic country home, Tennessee's Beechwood Hall.

"I'm sick of seeing history torn to the ground," Kid Rock said. "There's nothing more important in country music, if not American music, than Hank Williams, one of the greatest songwriters of all time. We hope to get this resolved in a good manner."

Carlson responded by saying, "Tearing down Hank Williams' house, an Antebellum house, would constitute not just an assault on the soul of country music, a distinctly American art form, it would be an attack on the country itself. Maybe we've had enough."

A group of concerned Franklin, Tennessee, citizens has united in a grassroots movement to save Beechwood Hall, one of the most significant historic homes in Tennessee.

Built in 1856 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Beechwood Hall is now in imminent danger of being destroyed.
