Yankton Bucks Football survived a scare in the opening round of the 11AA Playoffs last night, outlasting the Spearfish Spartans 12-7.

Running back Jace Sedlacek led the Yankton offense, rushing for 168 yards in the win. Tegan LaCroix was key on both sides of the ball, tallying a rushing touchdown and an interception.

The Bucks will host Sturgis next Friday night in the semifinals after their 28-21 win over Watertown. The Scoopers were the only 11AA team to defeat the Bucks in the regular season.

 

Mount Marty Women’s Basketball welcomes Trinity Bible College tonight for their second game of the 2025-26 season.

The Lancers are 1-0 following their 107-33 win over Kansas Christian last week in their season opener.

Mount Marty Men’s Basketball travels to Hillsboro, Kansas, today and tomorrow for a pair of non-conference games.

The Lancer Men are 1-0 on the year, as they prepare for Wayland Baptist on Friday night and Tabor College on Saturday.

Both games are scheduled to tip off at 4:00 PM.

 

The Cedar Catholic Trojans enter the NSAA C2 Football Playoffs as the #1 seed, as they host #16 Hershey tonight in round one.

The Trojans completed an undefeated regular season with a 9-0 record. Cedar Catholic was dominant throughout the year, outscoring their opponents 306-61.

The Lancers ended a three-match losing streak on Wednesday with a 3-1 win over the Hastings Broncos.

Mount Marty Football has their final home game of the season tomorrow afternoon, hosting Dakota Wesleyan for the Dakota Railroad Rivalry Game.

The Lancers are 4-4 on the year, as they look to end a two-game skid. Dakota Wesleyan enters having won two of their last three games after a 1-4 start.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits look to bounce back this week, as they host Indiana State tomorrow in Missouri Valley Football Conference action.

The Jackrabbits suffered their first defeat of the season last week, 38-7 at the hands of #1-ranked North Dakota State.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers will host the USC Trojans tomorrow night in a Big 10 clash at Memorial Stadium.
